Farrandy Iskandar Norshahid
A University (institute) Technology Malaysia (UiTM) scholar, Farrandy graduated with an LLB Honors in 2003 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2004 after successfully completing his pupilage.
He took on the role of Legal Assistant with the Litigation Department of an established medium sized firm based in Kuala Lumpur focusing on Banking and IP Litigation. He then joined a reputable firm as a Senior Legal Assistant. Here, he developed further his advocacy skills and knowledge in Litigation, particularly civil and IP litigation and adding to his portfolio Labour and Industrial disputes.
Farrandy embarks on running and managing Farrandy & Co. together with his partner Samantha Ann Samson.
Samantha Ann Samson
Samantha specializes in Intellectual Property and corporate & commercial matters.
Graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of London in the year 2000, she was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in March 2002.
She then joined the legal fraternity as an Advocate & Solicitor during which time she acquired considerable exposure and experience in the field of Intellectual Property.
Samantha then moved on to become Head of Department for Intellectual Property with a reputable ICT Legal Firm in Kuala Lumpur. Later, she was offered a position as Senior Associate and Head of Department for Intellectual Property in a well established firm.
Samantha is a member of Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA). Samantha has made her presence felt on IP through being invited as a guest speaker at several business seminars, talks and training sessions and write-ups in the press.
